Goodbyes Are For Cancer Patients... A Bientôt To Some Of The Greatest I've Ever Met.

I am no good at goodbyes. I realized this, but I realize that I should only say goodbye when someone is on their death bed, because if I care about you enough (which I probably do), then I will see you again. So it's never goodbye, it's simply A bientôt mes amis for now. I'm posting this on my blog, because 1.) I'm a loser, and you all know that. 2.) I'm better writing out what I feel than saying it. 3.) I'm packed to the brim with finals, packing, and organizing my life pre-takeoff, and I might not have a chance to have a proper parting with all of you.

I took a chance, and move to South Florida, a place I had never been and never really heard of outside of bad shows on E! and LMFAO lyrics. I'm really happy I did. I have met some of the most wonderful people in the entire world, people I will never forget, and people I will surely see many more times in my life.

I had a fantastic roommate who has made me even more excited about my European travels, and has taught me a lot about little things, and the little things matter a lot. I have made best friends with people from Detroit and New Jersey, people who don't take shit for anything, dance like no one is looking and they've accepted me for who I am, warts and all (I don't actually have warts... gross... its an expression), and they have made me laugh everyday. I will be friends with them forever and would trust them with my entire life. I met a girl from New York, a pissed off Manhattan debutant with eyes that burn, and looks to kill. I knew we would be friends from the second she asked for a lighter, all she's ever looking for is a smile, and she's going to get a lot more than that in life surely. I met a similar guy who looks thug, but could tell you more about art and art history than Mona Lisa herself. He's taught me to always look past the core in people and to see what they're really about. Then there's the Florida native, with bigger balls than an elephant, she speeds, swears, and her italian ass will be your best friend or worst enemy. The one who wears no shoes is also very special, one to welcome you with open arms and open legs... easily the funniest most carefree person alive.

These people and all the others I've met will never be replaced, and will skype me WEEKLY. if not daily... I will always know all of you and I will see many of you soon!

I leave only best wishes behind,
Sincerely,
Trevor E. Church

I've been gone almost a month.

So much has happened in the past month! Way too much to write about, and I've been extremely busy. Right now I'm just trying to hold onto my high gpa and get through the rough process of studying for finals. It's gonna be a rough 10 days until I'm home, but I am prepared for it. I'll start with the past first:

I've been working very hard in school and was very relieved when thanksgiving break came, I also have decided to write a book, and so I haven't had much free time. Over thanksgiving break I decided to stop writing, to stop reading, to stop doing school work, to stay on campus alone and relax. This was going fantastically until I realized how lonesome I was without everyone. I had gone an entire day without seeing any other living human and decided to venture out of the room in which I was staying to look for human contact. I realized that two of my amigos, Dan and Rachel were still on campus. Perfect. I would spend the next few days with these people just chilling out and having fun. I then realized I needed a break from South Florida entirely and went to my grandpas house in Okeechobee, FL. I saw mass amounts of alligators guarding the borders of the swamps that occupy most of the land in that part of Florida, and could feel evil hillbilly eyes on me throughout my escapades over the two days I was there. Walking into a gas station at 9pm in hicksville is like walking into an 18+ club. There's a million drunk idiots around without a shirt on. The entire town was there and gave my daily apparel funny looks. I was fine with this. I wanted to go tip a cow, but it was too much work. The best part of this entire experience was when I was laying outside at 2am and looked up at the stars. I had never seen so many stars in my entire life, it made me realize a lot of things in my life that I had forgotten. Very important things and made my realize that your roots are everything; they are the foundation for who we are today, and without them who we have become will crumble. I returned back to campus and had another couple of relaxing days before the return of my biznasty crackbench crew. This past week has been extremely difficult in terms of school work, keeping up with my writing (the only thing that makes me truly happy at the moment), and reevaluating all of my life's goals, aspirations and dreams. I had to not get a reality check, but lay out exactly what I want for myself in the next few years, and the steps in which I need to take to achieve these ambitions. None of them are impossible, impossible is nonexistent so I have come to realize in the past 9 months.

Now, I sit awake at 2am thinking about all the shit I have to deal with in the next ten days. I am also having some difficulties in the process of transferring. The University is trying to fuck me over and they're a bunch of idiots if they think I will sit and do nothing about it. Apparently they have never had to deal with an ex cokehead who recently gave up his severe redbull addiction on a massive power trip. They keep "losing" all documentation of my loans, grants, etc, and are refusing to release my transcripts, records and aid. This could cause a wide array of problems for my future as a college student. I am taking problems into my own hands though and fixing this bullshit. With the help of an intimidating mother. I also am trying to pick my classes for next semester (which I will be taking back in Minnesota) as well as applying to schools for next fall. Not to mention I have been coming down with a new illness every single day. Going from feeling like i have a cold, to a sore throat, to a bad cough and headache, to a stomach, to my whole body hurting, vision going blurry, excessive sleep to insomia, it's ridiculous. I don't know what the hell is going on, but it really needs to stop.

Future. In the next few weeks I will have packed up all of my stuff and trekked back into the treacherous weather of Minnesota. This is only temporary. I will also have enrolled in MCTC, picked my classes, finished applying to schools for next year, started working again, started to get all of my debt in order (there's a lot, blame Lanvin), celebrated the holidays, made a spiritual trip to Fairfield, caught up with old friends, and celebrated my nine months without shady business (an achievement I almost lost for the first time in a long time the other day).

Shit's been busy and I wish I had some more humorous things to write about like I normally do, but unfortunately I do not. It's all kind of bleh right now, but that's life, and as bob marley and the three little birds sang "don't worry, about a thing, because every little thing, is gonna be alright." I've aged 10 years in the past few months. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. I should still be a kid, but I have become far more responsible, happy, and well adjusted. I have a lot of shit that goes on in my head that I should probably get looked into at some point in time, but for the most part, I know how to handle things and I can still enjoy my days even if things don't go as planned.

See you soon Minnesota.

Madtown!

Ok so I had to blog about Madison... and my friends knew this. The only condition was that, because I was sober the whole time (obviously) and remembered everything, and didn't do anything stupid, I had to use code names...

Night #1) I arrived in Madison, WI in the evening on Wednesday, and was told I needed to take a cab, which was not a big deal because I wasn't going far. The cab driver was scary and kept calling me a city slicker... I paid him $10 so I could smoke in his cab. I arrived at "Joke's" house and met his two roommates "Salt" and "Pepper". Both very nice people. "Salt" would be staying at his girlfriends place that weekend due to the mass amount of people staying with "Joke". "Pepper", however was staying. Then "Winehouse" walked over to "Joke's" apartment to meet up. We all chatted and hungout and I went back to "Winehouse's" dorm and met her roommate and saw some old schoolmates from Hopkins. That was interesting. That's about it for the first night

Night #2) The second day was fun. I walked around town, and for those of you who have never been to Madison, it's beautiful! So I walked around, hung out and caught up more with "Joke". Then "Hotmess" and "Gaga" showed up. "Hotmess" is a friend from highschool and "Gaga" is her friend from college. It was fantastic to see "Hotmess" and very nice to meet "Gaga" (who was a very fun person). That night we were going to a local show by a group called The Dirty Disco Kids. "Hotmess" lived up to her name and got wasted, and was a-stumblin everywhere. I was in my costume (70's porn star) which was freezing and "gaga" said the best quote of the night with "Stay close to me, I'm like a polar bear, I give off a lot of heat". It was fantastic. So we got to the show and I ran into an old friend Ado, and hung with her most of the night. It was great too see her, it'd been awhile and she was only going to be in town a few hours, or for the night or something, so I kicked it with her. While with Ado "Hotmess" got up on stage and danced and then fell off, and "Joke" was kicked out of the show for smoking the reefer. The show ended right after he was kicked out though. We walked back and went to bed.

Ill post nights 3-6 at a later time...

I'm sick. Oh and those damn everglades!

So, I'm severely sick... I feel like I'm dying. Half the people at my school have the same thing I do. I want to quit smoking too, but I am waiting awhile. My quit date is March 20th. I'm moving back away from here in December. I need some time away from my life, and I need to experience different things, and I need money, and I need a car. I'm moving to the beautiful Portland, Oregon next summer. I'm trying to stay on top of my classes, it's hard. I'm trying to keep straight a's, that's harder. I can do it, and I am doing it, i'm just saying... it's hard. Regardless were all entitled to bitch every once in awhile. I plan on going to the everglades this weekend to camp with some friends and CROC HUNT!!!!!!!! or alligator actually... they don't have crocodiles here... same thing though, right? The song of my life right now is Modest Mouse "Custom Concern". I'm thinking about getting the lyrics tattoo'd on my body. It describes my life right now. Anyways, heres some beautiful pictures that I did not take, but I felt compelled to show ya'll since it is what my future beholds.

DIE PIGS DIE!

I was leaving a party when a cop attempted to breathalize me. I called him a twat, and he asked if I had been using drugs. He made the cab driver I had called wait forever, while he breathalized me. I explained to him that I don't drink or use drugs, and he scoffed. I then when on a long rant about how some grandmother down the road was probably being raped, or killed, or cooking up some meth, and he should be more concerned with that then wasting my fucking time. He was not amused. I told him he should pay the cab fare that had accumulated while the driver waited for me to be breathalized. Now this he was amused by. He asked me if there were people drinking inside. I told him no, but that he was welcome to go and waste everyone else's time like he did mine. He told me a "sassy attitude like that wont get you very far." I got in the cab and we proceeded to leave. I flipped him off as the cab pulled away and for a second he acted like he was going to do something, but i knew his big fat lazy ass wouldnt get into his pathetic squad car and pull over the cab just so he could get some more of my "sassy attitude". He can suck my big fat sassy dick. I hate the popo. My night blew. I need to wake up early and type a psych paper so I can go to the beach in the afternoon.

Donating plasma and the fucking weather.

It's beautiful outside. It's always beautiful outside here. I don't know how to force myself to stay inside and type an essay, and if I take my laptop outside, I know I will be distracted. I have an hour before my next class and I desperately need to start typing this paper, go to class, and then donate plasma so I have money to go to the bahamas on Saturday! My neighbor is blasting Edit "certified air raid material". It's overpowering my Zeppelin "No Quarter". I need some goddamn boss headphones. That will take a bit more than donating some plasma... maybe ill donate bone marrow this week.

Classes and other bullshit.

So that's me... at a gas station... in FUCKING KENTUCKY.

My schedule. 3 days a week of creative writing and psychology. 2 days a week of math, spanish and philosophy. Thats a fucking joke. I've been stuck in my dorm room all day instead of out having fun with friends. I am a slave to microsoft word and facebook. It's not my fault. I'm now sitting up, at 2:30am.. on facebook, and on here updating, and watching psycho... when really i should be asleep because I have class early tomorrow. I'm also going to try and hit the beach (which is beautiful and a few days ago the water had a temperature of 84 degrees). Life here is interesting, there has yet to be a dull moment. Although... i'm already applying to other schools as a transfer for next year... (I cant stay in one place too long). Thats all for now.

Leaving #3 and #4 I'm terrified of the south...

The only good part about the past few days was seeing Mark Twains old house. Whoopidy fucking dooo!!!!!! To start with, wait, I had to fucking crawl through a cornfield and hide just so I could smoke cigarettes! I also hid behind a garbage can at mcdonalds in nashville to do the same. At one point we stopped for gas in a fucking nasty town and the gas station attached to it had a "Big Girls Strip Club" fucking gross. and an Adult Book Store. After leaving this gas station I felt the urge to never eat again and to get checked for STD's PRONTO! Some places just should not exist. Well I completely jinxed myself, because at the next gas station, I had to piss. So I actually had to go in, when i entered the bathroom I was greeted by the rank smell of what must have been a damn hippos shit. Then upon realizing there were no urinals, I proceeded to enter a stall. My mistake. I was greeted by pubic hair, urine, shit stains, and a glorious glory hole. I saw all I needed to see. Oh when I was in Nashville in the ghetto part of town, 3 young gentlemen said "Damn, hes lookin all fresh and shit, with the blazer and all" or something along those lines. So, learning experience here? I fucking hate hicks but the hood loves me. I'm in Boca now, at a nice resort, waiting to pick the roommate up at the airport and then move in tomorrow. I'm content.

P.S. No I did not run into any housewives or Paula Dean while in Atlanta.
